Reasons Ravens Might Beat Patriots Today

Here are some reasons that the Baltimore Ravens Might Beat the New England Patriots today:

Revenge Factor - The Ravens will be motivated by getting revenge for the loss in the AFC Championship last year.

Ray Lewis - The Ravens are motivated to win one for Ray Lewis since this is his las year playing NFL football.

Joe Flacco - Joe Flacco will be motivated to play well as his contract ends this year and he also wants to get the monkey off his back by making it to the Superbowl.

Cam is gone - Many feel that former offensive coordinator Cam Cameron was holding the offense back. Well he is gone and it is a new day.

It is our destiny - After watching the game against Denver last week, I truly believe this is a team of destiny.

Ray Lewis: The End of an Era

With the Bengals lost yesterday to the Houston Texans, this will most likely be the last home game at M & T Bank Stadium for legendary linebacker Ray Lewis today. The Baltimore Ravens will be going up against the Indianapolis Colts in the first round of the playoffs today.

Ray Lewis announced his retirement after this season this week so this may very well be Ray Lewis's lat game as a Baltimore Raven at M & T stadium. It has been a good run for 17 years but all good thing eventually come to an end.

Ray Rice Up the Middle

"Hey Diddle Diddle, Ray Rice up the middle" was the saying all week as Ray Rice made an incredible play on 4th and 29 last Sunday to help the Baltimore Ravens beat the San Diego Chargers 16 to 13 in OT.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be looking to shut down Ray Rice today and the Baltimore Ravens will be looking to sweep the Steelers. You may as well get out the broom right now because the Ravens don't lose at home.

Prediction: Ravens 17 Steelers 13

Ravens vs Texans Pre Game Analysis

The only 2 teams with winning records in the AFC will face off when the Baltimore Ravens play the Houston Texans. The Houston Texans have never beat the Balimtore Ravens in the history of their organization.

The Ravens defense is beat up and is suffering the loss of Ray Lewis and Ladarius Webb for the remainder of the season. Even when these 2 key players were healthy, the Ravens defense was giving up a ton of yards against the run.

The Houston Texans have the advantage in this matchup since they are playing at home and have something to prove after getting blown out by the Green Bay Packers. The Ravens will be trying to prove that they can survive without their emotional leader Ray Lewis. Although on paper the Texans should win this game, I'm backing the Baltimore Ravens today.

Prediction: Ravens 27 Texans 24

Ravens vs Patriots Pre Game Analysis

The Baltimore Ravens are looking for revenge tonight against the New England Patriots. Both teams are coming off of disappoing losses last week. Both teams rarely lose 2 games in a row and the Baltimore Ravens were undefeated last year at home. I loog for the Ravens to play tough at home, force turnovers, and come away with hard fought victory. Prediction: Ravens 24 Patriots 17

Ravens vs Eagles Haltime Report

The Baltimore Ravens hold a commanding lead on the Philadelphia Eagles due to several Eagles turnovers. Joe Flacco threw a TD pass in the first half to make up for a fumble early in the game. Michael Vick has been successful moving the ball on the Ravens defense despite being only able to put only 7 points on the board. Halftime Score: Ravens 17 Eagles 7
