Imagine if John Harbaugh and Mike Tomlin Traded Places!

Now that John Harbaugh has been fired as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens and Mike Tomlin has stepped down as the HC of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the NFL head coaching gold rush just got more interesting. Imagine if the Baltimore Ravens acquired Mike Tomlin from their bitter rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Steelers retaliate by luring John Harbaugh across the AFC North divide. This coaching exchange would send shockwaves through the league and redefine one of football's fiercest rivalries.

It would make for a great sequel to the movie Trading Places with Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd. I personally would love to have Mike Tomlin as a head coach. The guy has never had a losing season! All he was missing was a good young talented quarterback. I truly believe if Tomlin had Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry under his leadership, the Ravens would win a Superbowl.

If you never saw the movie Trading Places before check it out below:

Will Derrick Henry Continue to Get the Ball vs Steelers?

[Click here for Derrick Henry posters!]

On December 27, 2025, Baltimore Ravens standout Derrick Henry achieved a new career best with 36 carries in a commanding 41-24 victory over the Green Bay Packers, a performance reminiscent of classic workhorse running backs. The 31-year-old stiff arm legend averaged an outstanding 6.0 yards per attempt, including explosive rushes of 30 and 25 yards, as he stormed to 216 running yards and an incredible four touchdowns, tying his career best in scoring.

In addition to setting an NFL record with his ninth career 200-yard game, Henry's incredible performance moved him up to 10th place on the all-time rushing yards list with 12,892 yards and fourth in rushing touchdowns with 122, overtaking greats like Adrian Peterson and Tony Dorsett. Henry's unrelenting effort kept Baltimore in the AFC North battle when the Ravens' chances of making the playoffs were at stake, demonstrating why, in his tenth season, he remains one of the league's most formidable and resilient backs.

Derrick Henry has obviously proven that he is still capapable of being a workhourse. The Ravens did a great job of protecting Tyler Huntly by feeding Henry and giving him 36 carries. Will the Ravens do the same for Lamar Jackson in this winner take all game against the Pittsburgh Steelers? I hope so but John Harbaugh and Todd Monken have shown a tendency to get away from what is working.

Ravens vs Steelers: Dumb Asses & Dropped Passes

The Baltimore Ravens lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers today 17 to 10. I saw at least 2 TD passes that were dropped by our receivers. One was a definite touchdown dropped by Rashod Bateman. Nelson Agholor also dropped a would be touchdown pass. There was also fumbles in the game that overshadowed a good performance by the Ravens defense through most of the game.

One of the dumb ass things was going for it on 4th down before the end of the first half. The Ravens missed an opportunity to get 3 more points in what everybody knew would end up being a close game. It is crazy that we have a weapon like Justin Tucker and rarely have used him as of late. The other dumb ass thing was the play calling near the goal line in the 4th quarter. Why not just give the ball to Gus Edwards and let him try to pound it in 3 times? Instead the dumb asses tried to be cute and called a little shovel pass to Mark Andrews that went nowhere. Then they tried a risky fade pass that got intercepted. This game reminded me of the Colts game, the Ravens should have won but THEY DESERVED TO LOSE!

Joe Flacco gets called out on social media for this missed opportunity in the Ravens vs Steelers game

Comments on Ravens vs Steelers Game Thursday Night

The Ravens vs Steelers game isn't what it used to be. The Pittsburgh Steelers don't intimidate me at all anymore. The Baltimore Ravens are built to beat to beat the Steelers now. Our offensive line which was horrible last year completely dominated the Steelers defensive line.

The Ravens are also loaded with speedy play makers on offense such as newly acquired wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. Steve Smith Sr. shook the mess out of Steelers safety Polomalu on one play and made him look old and foolish. The game was never really in doubt as the Baltimore Ravens went on to stomp the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 26 to 6.

Bad Week for Baltimore Ravens Fans

This has been a bad week so far for Baltimore Ravens fans. First we lose a heart breaker to the Cincinnati Bengals. A game the Ravens could have very easily won if they did not keep shooting themselves in the foot.

To make matters worse, The Ravens cut running back Ray Rice today because a video showing what happened inside the elevator leaked and it wasn't good. This has been a ruff week for Ravens Nation but we still have a chance to redeem ourselves if we can beat our rival Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night.

Ray Rice Suspended for 2 Games

Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice has been suspended for 2 games for his misconduct during the off season. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced the punishment today which happens to be the first day of full training camp practice for the Baltimore Ravens. Ray Rice became famous for assaulting and knocking out his eventual wife in an elevator. The video of the incident has been all over the internet. Ray Rice will miss games against the Cincinnati Bengals as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers due to the suspension.

Below is a video clip of the infamous elevator incident involving Ray Rice:

Seahawks Upset Ravens in Seattle

The Baltimore Ravens were upset by the Seattle Seahawks today. David Reed gets part of the blame by fumbling on 2 kick off returns. The Ravens continue to fall apart the next week after a big win against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Ravens defense held the Seahawks to mostly field goals but the pass rush was non existent. The Ravens somehow abandoned the running game again with Ray Rice only having 5 carries for 27 yards. Joe Flacco has 52 passing attempts in the game.

The Ravens still lead the AFC North but barely. The Ravens have their work cut out for them as they play the Bengals next week and then the 49ers on Thanksgiving Day.

Final Score: Ravens 17 Seahawks 22

Ravens Sweep Steelers

The Baltimore Ravens completed the regular season sweep of the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night. It was a tough close game unlike the blowout in week one. Joe Flacco proved that he can shine under tough conditions on the road by leading a 92 yard touchdown drive to win the game in the final seconds.

Joe Flacco has led the Ravens to 2 great comeback victories in 2 straight weeks. Who knows? If Cam Cameron had made adjustments earlier in the Jaguars game, it may have been 3 in a row. Flacco's stats: 28-47, 314 yds, 1 td

All the Ravens have to do now is beat the Bengals and they will grab the AFC North crown!

Final Score: Ravens 23 Steelers 20

Ravens vs Steelers Pre-Game Analysis

The Baltimore Ravens are coming off their greatest comeback win in franchise history. The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the mighty New England Patriots last week.

The Ravens totally dominated the Steelers in week 1. The Steelers are looking much improved on both sides of the ball since the first meeting. I expect this to be a tough hard fought match but I expect the Ravens to finally prove themselves by beating the Steelers in Pittsburgh even with a healthy Ben Roethlisberger.

Terrell Suggs I need you to own Roethlisberger's ass once again!!!

Prediction: Ravens 20 Steelers 17

Ravens Crush Cardinals Hopes of an Upset

The Arizona Cardinals wanted to shock the Ravens Nation by coming in and pulling out an upset of the Ravens in Baltimore. In the the first half it looked like they were going to get what they wanted. The Cardinals led the Ravens by 21 points at one point in the first half.

The Baltimore Ravens were not having it though. Joe Flacco started getting the ball to Anquan Boldin in the second half and Boldin made several big catches which led to Ravens points in the second half. Ray Rice was the beneficiary of those big plays and ended up scoring 3 TDs in the second half.

I asked if Joe Flacco had what it takes to get us back in the game in my halftime report. The answer was obviously yes! Joe Flacco ended up with 336 yards passing as he led us to the biggest comeback victory in Ravens franchise history. The Ravens will face the Pittsburgh Steelers next Sunday night.

Final Score: Ravens 30 Cardinals 27

Ravens Give Up First Place in AFC North

It was a game the Baltimore Ravens should have won. It is hard to win though if you can't score. The Jacksonville Jaguars kept the Ravens scoreless until late in the 4th quarter. Despite another impressive performance by the defense, the Ravens offense did not show up at all until late in the 4th quarter.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are now in first place in the AFC North. Terrell Suggs said it best after the game. He said the Jaguars fed their horse while the Ravens only gave Ray Rice 8 carries. Well it looks like the Ravens offense has its problems but what else is new?

Final Score: Ravens 7 Jaguars 12

Ravens Fall to Titans

After looking like a team that might be headed to the Superbowl against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, the Tennessee Titans brought the Baltimore Ravens back down to earth. I hate to say it but the Titans outplayed the Ravens on both sides of the ball.

Joe Flacco threw 2 interceptions and Ricky Williams had a fumble. Matt Hasselbeck passed for 358 yards on our Ravens defense.

Final Score: Titans 26 Ravens 13

Joe Flacco Gets the Monkey Off his Back Against the Steelers

All you kept hearing this year is how Joe Flacco has never beaten Ben Roethlisberger. Well, today Joe Flacco played way better than Ben Roethlisberger. Flacco looked like an elite quarterback today striking early and often. His first pass of the entire season was a touchdown pass to Anquan Boldin!

Ray Rice was also a beast on offense scoring 2 TDs in the first half.  The legendary Ed Reed had 2 picks. Mighty Ray Lewis had a pick and forced a fumble. Terrell Suggs aka T. Sizzle caused major havoc and became the Ravens all-time sack leader today. I thought it would be another close game at first but the Ravens whipped the Steelers asses like they stoled something.  If the Ravens continue to play this well, this could indeed be our Superbowl year.

Final Score: Ravens 35 Steelers 7

Ravens vs Steelers Pre-Game Analysis

Joe Flacco has never beaten Ben Roethlisberger.  The Pittsburgh Steelers have knocked the Baltimore Ravens out of the playoffs in 2 of the last 3 playoff runs.  The Ravens do have home field advantage and are looking for some much needed revenge against their AFC North rivals.

Even though the Steelers are the favorites tomorrow, I have to go with my home team.  I think the moves made in the off season and the fact we are playing at home will be enough for the Ravens to pull out the victory in another close one.

Prediction: Ravens 24 Steelers 20

Jimmy Smith Deal Done

Rookie cornerback Jimmy Smith has signed his deal with the Ravens and has already started practice.  It is reported that all of the Baltimore Ravens 2011 draft picks are now signed.  It is expected that Jimmy Smith will start now that Josh Wilson has signed with the Washington Redskins.

It was also reported that Jimmy Smith had a gery good first practice with the team and looks good physically.   He has been studying the playbook during the lockout and is picking up on the denfensive schemes rather quickly.  He will have to be a fast learner because the Ravens will play the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first game of the season.

Ravens Blow Another One to Pittsburgh

The Baltimore Ravens turned over the ball 3 times in the second half to blow a 14 point lead. Ray Rice fumbles leading to a Steelers score. Joe Flacco throws an interception. Boldin drops a touchdown pass. T.J. drops a much needed pass on the final drive. Too much went wrong in the second half for me to list. The Ravens defense made some big plays but the offense didn't do much the whole game besides turn the ball over. The way the Ravens lost today was embarrassing for Ravens fans.

Final Score: Ravens 24 Steelers 31
