Ravens vs Packers Pre-Game Analysis

The Baltimore Ravens defense will get their biggest test since week 1 as they prepare to go against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers today. The Ravens will have the home field advantage and have a fantastic record at home over the last few years. Also, hopefully the weather will slow down this high powered Packers offense. The Ravens will need to get a strong pass rush from Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil to get the win, but I think they will be able to pull it out at home.

Prediction: Ravens 23 Packers 20

Baltimore Ravens Need a Win in Miami

The Superbowl Champion Baltimore Ravens are in desperate need of a win today in Miami. The Ravens are looking for their first road win of the 2013 season. If the Ravens were to lose today to the Miami Dolphins, they will fall below 500 for the first time in a long time. The Ravens looked really bad last week against the Buffalo Bills throwing 5 interceptions and basically shot themselves in the foot.

Joe Flacco will need to have a much better game this week and they will need to get Ray Rice involved early. Marlon Brown will probably be out due to an injury so the Ravens will be short on wide receivers. In order to get this win, the defense will have to play extremely well and the offense will need to make some big plays.

Go Ravenns!!! R

Ravens vs Bills ReCap

The Baltimore Ravens were supposed to be the more experienced team, but could not tell by the way they played today. Joe Flacco threw a whopping 5 interceptions today. The Ravens completely abandoned thr run in the second half and Flacco threw the ball 50 times. 10@ of Flacco's passes ended up in the hands of the Buffalo Bill's defense.

The only bright spot in the game for the Ravens was probably Torrey Smith who had 5 catches for 166 yards. The Ravens did indeed look like a team that lacked leadership today. Maybe Ray Lewis was right.

Final Score: Ravens 20 Bills 23

Ravens vs Bills Pre-Game Analysis

The Baltimore Ravens are coming off of a big win over the Houston Texans last week. The Ravens defense has not given up a touchdown since week 1. I expect the Ravens to find a way to win this game on the road and beat the Buffalo Bills. I expect the Ravens defense to force some turnover with their strong pass rush and aility to stop the run. Ray Rice may return to action today from his hip injury.

Prediction: Ravens 23 Bills 13

Ravens vs Texans Pre-Game Analysis

There will be several things to look out for in today's Ravens vs Texans football game. Ray Lewis will be in town for the ring of honor ceremony at the game. This game will also mark the return of Ed Reed since he he left for the Houston Texans. The Baltimore Ravens need this game in order to stay on top of the AFC North.

The Houston Texans are known to have a good defense and strong running game on offense. It will be a good sign for the Ravens if they can perform well against the Texans. Although most analyst seem to be picking the Texans to win, I am taking the Ravens at home.

Prediction: Ravens 17 Texans 14

Ravens vs Broncos Halftime Report

Ravens haven't looked too sharp on offense but have been able to move ball and get some points thanks to a Wes Welker fumble in the first half that put Ravens on the goal line. Joe Flacco threw a perfect TD pass which got dropped by Dallas Clark right before the half and the Ravens had to settle for a field goal.

Terrell Suggs did record the first Ravens sack on Peyton Manning and the Broncos haven't done much on the ground but Peyton Manning has thrown 2 TD passes already. This game has lived up to expectations so far going back and forth. The Ravens will need to get more pressure on Manning in the second half and also need to establish a running game on offense.

Halftime Score: Ravens 17 Broncos 14

Ravens vs Broncos Pre-Game Analysis

The Baltimore Ravens are the Superbowl Champs! The Denver Broncos want revenge for the ass whooping they took in the playoffs last season. Joe Flacco is one of the highest paid NFL players ever. Peyton Manning is a living legend and future hall of famer. The stage is set for a showdown.

Ravens have a new defensive front line but some inexperience in the secondary. The Broncos won't have pass rusher Von Miller tonight. The Ravens will be on the road in yet another hostile environment. I honestly can't call this one but I think it will be good. I'm going with my heart.

Prediction: Ravens 27 Broncos 24

Ed Reed is Out and Michael Huff is In

I was really sad when I found out that Ed Reed was going to be playing for the Houston Texans. This was shocking news especially since it has been less than two months since Ed Reed's speech at the Ravens parade. I guess it is only fair that the Texans take one of our good players seeing that we got Bernard Pollard, Vonta Leach, and Jacoby Jones from them. The pain of losing Ed Reed was eased a little bit when I heard the news that we acquired safety Michael Huff from the Oakland Raiders.

Michael Huff will probably never be another Ed Reed but he is a better cover guy than Bernard Pollard and is he very physical. He is also very versatile and can play both strong and free safety positions as well as cornerback. Combine this free agency signing with that of Elvis Dumervil and it looks like the Baltimore Ravens will be back in business in 2013. Michael Huff's NFL career stats

Will Ravens Keep Safety Ed Reed?

After the Baltimore Ravens shocked the fans by cutting hard hitting safety Bernard Pollard, keeping Ed Reed is a must in my opinion. I mean who would feel confortable with a completely new secondary on defense? The Houston Texans seem to be rolling out the red carpet to try get Ed Reed from us. There is still hope however that Baltimore will keep him as the Ravens organization is expected to meet with Reed's agent soon.

Here is a video clip of Ed Reed's speech in front of the crown and M&T Bank stadium during Ravens parade after the Superbowl 47 victory:

Ravens Overcome Outage Gate to Win Superbowl 47

It was crazy! The Baltimore Ravens were totally demolishing the San Francisco 49ers and then it happened. There was a freakin power outage at the Superbowl which caused a delay and pretty much ended the Ravens momentum.

The 49ers took full advantage of the power outage and was able to regroup and launch a comeback scoring like 17 unanswered points in the 3rd quarter. The Ravens made a goal line stand to win the game and to overcome Outage Gate.

Final Score: Ravens 34 49ers 29

Reason Ravens Will Win the Superbowl

Here are some reasons that the Baltimore Ravens will win the Superbowl:

Joe Flacco - Joe Flacco has the arm of Hercules. Have you seen those bomb he threw against Denver?

Ray Lewis - Ray Lewis is full of confidence and he will play like a man possessed.

Ed Reed - The 49ers QB is a rookie and has never played against Ed Reed. The rookie doesn't know and in this case what he doesn't know will hurt him when it comes to Ed Reed. I expect Ed Reed to get a pick in this game.

Cam is gone - Many feel that former offensive coordinator Cam Cameron was holding the offense back. Well he is gone and it is a new day.

The Ravens will win Superbowl 47!

Reasons Ravens Might Beat Patriots Today

Here are some reasons that the Baltimore Ravens Might Beat the New England Patriots today:

Revenge Factor - The Ravens will be motivated by getting revenge for the loss in the AFC Championship last year.

Ray Lewis - The Ravens are motivated to win one for Ray Lewis since this is his las year playing NFL football.

Joe Flacco - Joe Flacco will be motivated to play well as his contract ends this year and he also wants to get the monkey off his back by making it to the Superbowl.

Cam is gone - Many feel that former offensive coordinator Cam Cameron was holding the offense back. Well he is gone and it is a new day.

It is our destiny - After watching the game against Denver last week, I truly believe this is a team of destiny.

Ray Lewis: The End of an Era

With the Bengals lost yesterday to the Houston Texans, this will most likely be the last home game at M & T Bank Stadium for legendary linebacker Ray Lewis today. The Baltimore Ravens will be going up against the Indianapolis Colts in the first round of the playoffs today.

Ray Lewis announced his retirement after this season this week so this may very well be Ray Lewis's lat game as a Baltimore Raven at M & T stadium. It has been a good run for 17 years but all good thing eventually come to an end.
