Ravens Hand Cardinals Another Loss

The Baltimore Ravens have been handing out losses like Oprah hands out cars. You get a loss, you get a loss, and you get a loss! The Ravens just handed out a loss to the Arizona Cardinals today. The Ravens rise to 6 and 2 and the the Cardinals fell to 1 and 7.

The final score was 31 to 24 which was a lot closer than it should have been. The Ravens dominated most of the game but let the Cardinals hang around and they made it interesting in the 4th quarter recovering an onside kick. The Ravens were able to hold on however and get the win.

Ravens Tame Lions with Total Domination

The Baltimore Ravens totally dominated the Detroit Lions today. It was a good win versus a good team as the Lion came into Baltimore with a 5 and 1 record. Well, the Baltimore Ravens just handed them their second loss of the season.

Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore offense looked awesome especially in the first half. The defense played lights out as usual.

Ravens Go Back to Old Reliable Justin Tucker

Justin Tucker kicked a whopping 6 field goals to help the Ravens defeat the Titans last Sunday. In previous weeks, Justin Tucker was rarely utilized. The Ravens elected to take risks on 4th down instead and paid the price. It seemed like they forgot that 3 points adds up especially when your defense is playing well. They didn't make that same mistake againt the Tennesse Titans in London on Sunday.

The Baltimore Ravens will play the Detroit Lions this upcoming Sunday. The last time Ravens went against Lion, Justin Tucker kicked a record setting field goal.
The last time the Ravens played the Lions, Justin Tucker made history. He ‘put a lot of value on that particular kick.’

The Ravens Beat the Titans in London

The Baltimore Ravens beat the Tennesse Titans by a score of 24 to 16 in London today. The Ravens defense dominated the Titans all day and the Ravens should have had more points in the game but had to settle for several field goals in the red zone.

The good news is the Ravens finally utilized one of their best weapons in Justing Tucker insead of going for it on 4th downs and turning the ball over. Another bright spot was Zay Flowers scoring his very first NFL touchdown.

Ravens vs Steelers: Dumb Asses & Dropped Passes

The Baltimore Ravens lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers today 17 to 10. I saw at least 2 TD passes that were dropped by our receivers. One was a definite touchdown dropped by Rashod Bateman. Nelson Agholor also dropped a would be touchdown pass. There was also fumbles in the game that overshadowed a good performance by the Ravens defense through most of the game.

One of the dumb ass things was going for it on 4th down before the end of the first half. The Ravens missed an opportunity to get 3 more points in what everybody knew would end up being a close game. It is crazy that we have a weapon like Justin Tucker and rarely have used him as of late. The other dumb ass thing was the play calling near the goal line in the 4th quarter. Why not just give the ball to Gus Edwards and let him try to pound it in 3 times? Instead the dumb asses tried to be cute and called a little shovel pass to Mark Andrews that went nowhere. Then they tried a risky fade pass that got intercepted. This game reminded me of the Colts game, the Ravens should have won but THEY DESERVED TO LOSE!

Ravens vs Brown: Injuries, Injuries, and More Injuries

The Baltimore Ravens continue to be plagued by injuries in the 2023 NFL season. During Lamar Jackson's contract negotiations, critics claimed that Lamar was not durable. The ironic thing is he has probably been the healthiest player on the offense this year even though he puts his body on the line every single game.

During the past three seasons it seems like the Ravens are cursed when it comes to injuries. Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashod Bateman are hurt already this year and will not play versus the Browns this week. The number of injuries is a serious concern for the Ravens. They fired their trainer from last season so they can't blame it on that this year. The good news is that Justice Hill will be returning from an injury and will be active for the game.

Baltimore Ravens: The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly in Loss Against Colts

Baltimore Ravens fans often need to have their blood pressusue medicine handy when watching them play. The Ravens vs Colts game this past Sunday was one of those times. The Ravens had so many opporunities to win the game that it was totally reidicous. We will examine the good, the bad, and the ugly in the overtime loss to the Colts on Sunday.

THE GOOD

One of the good things was the play of the defense. Kyle Hamilton, the strong safety, was incredible. He hit home recording 3 sacks on the day and had 2 tackles for a loss. The defense also got a clutch safety late in the game. Even though Lamar Jackson was under pressure most of the day, he still managed to throw for over 200 yards and rush for over 100 yards which is usually a winning formula.

THE BAD

The offensive line could not protect Lamar at all. He was harassed all day long by the Colts defense and had no time in the pocket to work with. The Ravens continue to be plagued by injuries. Gus Edwards had to leave game early forcing Ravens to rely on kenyan Drake and Melvin Gordon who recently were promoted from the practice squad.

THE UGLY

The Ravens were rolling until the Kenyan Drake fumble which changed the momentum of the game. Lamar Jackson also had a fumble and took a sack late in the game instead of throwing the ball away. The Ravens had poor clock management and went 3 and out right after defense got the safety to give us ball back with around 2 minutes to go. The Ravens should have won this game but probably deserved to lose.

Colts Defeat Ravens in OT | WTF Happened?

The #1 Baltimore Ravens were defeated by the Indianapolis Colts today on the road. The Ravens were sitting by themselves at the top of the AFC North division but the Colts came to town and shocked the house with the upset in overtime.
The Ravens had so many opportunities to win the game, it was ridiculous. The Ravens were rolling in the first half 7 to 0 until kenyan Drake fumbled after a nice pass downfield from Lamar Jackson. Everything was frustrating from that point on and Colts took the win 22 to 19 in OT. The Ravens also continue to be plagued by injuries as more key players had to leave the game.

The Ravens offense looked great against the Bengals last week, but couldn't block in the passing game to save their lives today. Lamar had to run for his life during most of the game. The Ravens better get the offense together by next week, because the Browns are rolling and they crushed the Titans today.

Lamar Jackson Outperforms Joe Burrow Again

Lamar Jackson seems to be getting confortable in his new offense after looking rusty in week 1. Week 2 was a different story however as Lamar Jackson showed why he is a dual threat yesterday leading the Ravens to a 27 to 24 win over the Bengals.

This is the second time in a row that Lamar Jackson has defeated Joe Burrrow head to head. This time he did it in Cinncinati on the road in a hostile environment. Doubters better look out beacause Lamar has weapons now!

What the Hell was Tyler Huntley Thinking?

I really don't want to be too critical of Tyler Huntley, but I have to do it. His decision to go over the top on the goal line was one of the most bone headed plays I have ever seen in NFL history. It was just plain stupid. It was not only stupid, it was embarassing as a Ravens fan to watch that play unfold.

The sad part is that Huntley played fairly well on the road against the Bengals in his first playoff start. He did have an interception early in the game, but he managed ro have us in position to win late in the 4th quarter. Ravens had a golden opportunity to get a touchdown late in the 4th quarter and break the 17 to 17 tie. It looked like the Ravens were going to win the game at the time!

Then the worst thing that could happen happened. Instead of just falling forward on a quarterback sneak call, Huntley opted to try to reach over the top and Bengals defenders were able to force him to fumble. To add insult to injury, the Bengals scooped up the fumble and returned it for a 95 yard touchdown which turned out to be the game winning score.

It was a bad playcall from the start, but the execution of it by Huntley was even worse. What made Huntley think he could go over the top and reach the ball out unsecurely from that far out? His decision to do so certainly didn't help offensive coordinator Greg Roman keep his job. It only made us realize how much we miss a healthy Lamar Jackson.
