Baltimore Ravens: The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly in Loss Against Colts

Baltimore Ravens fans often need to have their blood pressusue medicine handy when watching them play. The Ravens vs Colts game this past Sunday was one of those times. The Ravens had so many opporunities to win the game that it was totally reidicous. We will examine the good, the bad, and the ugly in the overtime loss to the Colts on Sunday.

THE GOOD

One of the good things was the play of the defense. Kyle Hamilton, the strong safety, was incredible. He hit home recording 3 sacks on the day and had 2 tackles for a loss. The defense also got a clutch safety late in the game. Even though Lamar Jackson was under pressure most of the day, he still managed to throw for over 200 yards and rush for over 100 yards which is usually a winning formula.

THE BAD

The offensive line could not protect Lamar at all. He was harassed all day long by the Colts defense and had no time in the pocket to work with. The Ravens continue to be plagued by injuries. Gus Edwards had to leave game early forcing Ravens to rely on kenyan Drake and Melvin Gordon who recently were promoted from the practice squad.

THE UGLY

The Ravens were rolling until the Kenyan Drake fumble which changed the momentum of the game. Lamar Jackson also had a fumble and took a sack late in the game instead of throwing the ball away. The Ravens had poor clock management and went 3 and out right after defense got the safety to give us ball back with around 2 minutes to go. The Ravens should have won this game but probably deserved to lose.
