Ravens vs Bengals Comments: The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly
The Good
Despite the final result presenting a bleak image, the Baltimore Ravens exhibited flashes of their characteristic rushing power that saved the game from turning into a full blown shutout. On the team's first possession, hulking workhorse Derrick Henry smashed his way to an 18-yard touchdown, setting an early 7-3 tone and reminding everyone why Baltimore's ground attack is still one of the league's most formidable weapons.
With his own 18-yard touchdown rush in the third quarter, Keaton Mitchell added some lightning to the game as it progressed, momentarily reducing the Bengals' advantage to 19–14 and demonstrating that the Ravens' pool of backs can still produce points when the passing game falters. These moments were more than simply consolation prizes; they demonstrated a strong offensive identity that could have completely changed the course of events on a less dismal night.
The Bad
Under the Thanksgiving Day primetime lights, Lamar Jackson's arm appeared unusually unstable, making what should have been a divisional demolition into a confusing struggle for the Ravens. Jackson only completed 17 of 32 passes for 246 yards with a costly interception. He also missed a number of open receivers and seemed shaken behind an offensive line that has been a concern all season, allowing pressures that forced hurried decisions and stalled drives.
The result was a slow aerial approach that couldn't support the run game, leaving Baltimore overly reliant on the ground when the Bengals responded and loaded the box. This inefficiency not only lost early momentum but also showed deeper schematic weaknesses, as the Ravens managed only 14 points—well below their explosive potential—against a Cincinnati defense that began the game as the league's punching bag.
The Ugly
If the Ravens' performance had a nightmare fuel moment, it was the five turnovers that provided the Bengals ideal real estate and converted a winnable contest into a 32-14 disgrace. Tight end Isaiah Likely's heartbreaking fumble at the goal line, just inches from paydirt after a 43-yard gain, resulted in a touchback that swung halftime momentum, while Jackson suffered the brunt of two fumbles—one stripped at the 6-yard line on a sack, another one came loose after what looked like an attemped pass.
Even while opponents often only scored field goals, Baltimore's negligence gave Cincinnati short fields that were ready for exploitation. Zay Flowers' forced fumble late in the game didn't help the situation at all. This self-inflicted carnage highlighted a lack of discipline that might haunt the purple faithful far beyond the holiday leftovers. It was the ugliest blemish on a team competing for the AFC North title.

Mark Andrews' Incredible Fake Tush Push Play! | Baltimore Ravens
This incredible fake tush push play is what sealed the win for the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens faked a tush push with Mark Andrews and broke out for a 35 yard touchdown run instead! The Cleveland Browns fell for it like suckers!

Ravens vs Browns: Browns Get Swept and Bullied By Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens are now 5 and 5 and have won 4 games in a row! The Ravens have been taking care of business and beating the teams that they are supposed to beat as of late. The Ravens were supposed to beat up and bully the Browns. The Cleveland Browns have had a crappy organization for decades. The Browns now have a record of 2 and 8 and are one of the worst teams in the NFL.
Derrick Henry rushed for 103 yards and a TD. Mark Andrews had a very nice 35 yard run for a TD score on a play that looked like they were lining up for a tush push but Andrews broke out for a long run instead. The only bright spot for the Browns was a 4 sack performance by Myles Garrett. The final score of 23 to 16 made it look like like a close game but Ravens settled for field goals and struggled on the goal line a couple of times.

Vikings Had Every Right to Be Scared of the Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens only had a record of 3 and 5 going into this matchup, but don't let that fool you. The Baltimore Ravens were probably the best 3 and 5 team in the history of the NFL. Now that Lamar Jackson is back healthy, the whole NFL is on notice. On top of that , Lamar's win loss record against NFC teams is better than remarkable, it is Lamarkable! The Minnesota Vikings had every right to fear the hungry Baltimore Ravens coming to town.
The Ravens offense did just enogh to win but I was way more impressed with the newly improved Ravens defense. Both Malaki Starks and Marlon Humphrey had interceptions in the game and the defense was able to contain Vikings superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson who only had 37 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
FINAL SCORE Ravens 27 Vikings 19

Baltimore Ravens Love Eating Fish!
The Miami Dolphins didn't have a chance against the Baltimore Ravens on Thurday Night Football. The Ravens are in do or die mode and they were very hungry! Ravens love eating fish and the fish got eaten! Welcome back Lamar Jackson who looked great. Mark Andrews came back from the dead in time for Halloween and had 2 TD catches. Don't look now, but the Ravens have won 2 games in a row!
FINAL SCORE: Ravens 28 Fish (I mean Dolphins) 6

Ravens vs Bears: Teams Should Always Fear Ravens After a Bye Week
Following a bye week that helped important Ravens players recover from persistent injuries, Baltimore took on a Bears team that was on a four-game winning streak. John Harbaugh was facing heavy criticism fo a 1 and 5 start going into the game. The Chicago Bears had much to fear going into Baltimore to play. Since taking over as head coach in 2008, John Harbaugh's Baltimore Ravens had a remarkable record of 13-4 in games played right after a bye week, showcasing the team's ability to use the rest to regroup and dominate when they return.
Sure enough Sunday was no different. The Baltimore Ravens looked much better and the defense continues to show improvement. Tyler Huntley got the start in place of of an injured Lamar Jackson and Huntley played very well. Way better than Cooper Rush and that's for sure! Ravens went on to chase the the frightened Bears out of Baltimore with a final score of 30 to 16.

Ravens Fans Get Chance to Rest and Recover During the Bye Week
Fans of the Baltimore Ravens may feel emotionally battered and bruised by everything that has happened to them this season. We will have an opportunity to recuperate from our wounds during the bye week. The Baltimore Ravens are in an uncommon slump as the 2025 NFL season draws near its midpoint. They are currently third in the AFC North with a dreadful 1-5 record, following a franchise-worst start that included a devastating 17-3 whooping to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6. The Ravens don't even want to recall their devastating 41-40 first-round loss to the Buffalo Bills, in which they lost a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter.
The Ravens have been beset by offensive turnovers (four interceptions from backup quarterbacks without a touchdown pass) and defensive lapses, even though they started the season as Super Bowl contenders with a loaded roster that included MVP Lamar Jackson—currently sidelined by injury—and a dominant rushing attack led by Derrick Henry that carried over from last season's historic 94.5 PFF grade. Though fans hold out hope for a Jackson-fueled comeback against the Bears in Week 8, Baltimore enters its Week 7 bye with slim playoff odds after averaging 24 points per game (14th in the league) but giving up more in crucial situations. This has led to rumors of draft-position boosts and midseason adjustments under John Harbaugh.

Ravens vs Rams Reaction: Rams Had Nothing to Fear Against the Baltimore Ravens
The Rams came into Baltimore with pretty much nothing to fear at all. The Baltimore Ravens are currently plagued with injuries and were without star quarterback Lamar Jackson. Cooper Rush started in place of Lamar and did absolutely nothing. Rush only had 11 completions for 72 yards , no TDs, and 1 interception. Rush finished with a horrible 44.2 passer rating. Rush was basically useless.
Eventually Rush was benched and replaced by Tyler Huntley. Huntley looked a little bit better than Rush and finished with a passer rating of 76.53. Huntley threw for 68 yards which was almost as much as Rush even though he had way less time to play. By the time Huntley got in the game it was too little to late because Rams knew we would have to pass at that point.
Derrick Henry had a decent day but never made it into the end zone. Henry rushed for 122 yards on 24 carries. They Ravens had opportunities to score on the goal line but Monken decided to be cute and do a couple of failed tush pushes. Probably the worse attempts at the tush push I ever seen in my life. Should have let Henry get a some running room and fed him 4 times in a row instead. Ravens left a lot of would be points on the board in this low scoring contest.
The Ravens defense looked improved except for a dumb call where they dropped nine and only had 2 pass rushers. What the hell was Zach Orr thinking on that one? Stafford had enough time write a book in the pocket on that play. Well at least the defense only gave up 17 points today instead of the usualy 35+. 17 points was great considering all the fumbles and turnovers by the offense and special teams.
FINAL SCORE: Ravens 3 Rams 17

Texans Stomp on the Ravens 44 to 10
It was a BLOWOUT! The Baltimore Ravens defense looked horrible giving up 40+ points to the Texans who have never beat the Ravens in Baltimore until today. I know the Ravens are suffering from injuries now but the defense has looked terrible all year long and it is the worst in the NFL.
Is it time for Zach Orr or John Harbaugh to go? Not only are the Ravens playing bad but they are getting more penalties than their opponents as well. The defense gave up 4 touchdown passes today and also allowed Texans QB Stroud to have an 85% passing completion rate. It's tough out here for Ravens fans these days.

Benching Derrick Henry is NOT the Answer
Derrick Henry was barely used in the Ravens vs Chiefs game. Henry ended the game with just 8 carries for 42 yards in the game. Even Justice Hill who had a pretty good game only had 3 carries. It seems as though Monken has no idea of how to beat the Kansas City Chiefs. He blew an AFC Championship to the Chiefs the year before last by not running the ball and didn't run the ball much again this year against them.
I know Derrick Henry has had fumble issues lately but we can't afford to keep him on the bench. The Baltimore Ravens are undefeated when Henry gets 20 or more carries. Now that Lamar Jackson is injured, the Ravens will need to lean on Henry more than ever. Monken has to learn how to use these weapons that he has been blessed with to control the clock and keep opposing quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes off the field.

Another Tough Loss for the Baltimore Ravens Against the Chiefs
To be honest I had a strong feeling that the Baltimore Ravens would lose to the Chiefs again. Lamar Jackson has never beaten the Kansan City Chiefs in Kansas City in his whole career. Lamar has been playing flawless with no turnovers going into this game. He had 2 turnovers in the game and the defense continued to struggle.
To make matters worse, Lamar injured his hamstring and wasn't able to complete the game. Derrick Henry wasn't used much in the game at all and only had 8 carries for 42 yards. The Chiefs were able to win easily 37 to 20.

Derrick Henry has 3 fumbles in the first 3 weeks of the 2025 NFL season. To make matters worse, 2 of the 3 fumbles occured in the 4th quarter. Henry's lastest fumble in the Ravens vs Lions game left everyone shocked including Henry.
Derrick Henry looked noticeably shook on the sideline after the fumble. He had the look of shock on his face because he normally doesn't fumble.

Give Lamar Jackson some time and he'll throw some dimes! In Sunday nights primetime Ravens vs Browns game, Lamar threw 4 TD passes and had 225 yards in the air. The Browns did so much trash talking before the game, but could not back it up and got their asses whooped!
WR Devontez Walker caught 2 of Lamar's TD passes and made his prescence felt by the Cleveland Browns. The Ravens defense bounced back this week and looked much improved as the Ravens went on to win the game very convincingly 41 to 17.

Baltimore Ravens Deserved to Lose Against Buffalo Bills
The Ravens vs Bills game was definitelitely the marquee matchup game of week 1 of of the 2025 NFL football season. It lived up to the hype with the Bill overcoming a 40 to 25 deficit in the 4th quarter to win the game 41 to 40. As a Ravens fan, I have to admit that the Ravens deserved to lose the game.
We can point to the Derrick Henry fumble but that is just the low hanging fruit. Henry was having an incredible game until that point. Yes it was a major contributing factor to the lost but it isn't the reasean the the Ravens deserved to lose.
We can point to the fact that our offense got practically no production from the TE position. I was expecting Mark andrews to redeem himself with Likely being out, but that didn't happen. Mark Andrews only had 1 catch for 5 yards, but that isn't the reason Ravens deserved to lose.
The real reason Ravens deserved to lose is because of the defensive collapse. The Ravens had a 40 to 25 lead going into the 4th qtr but started playing horribly on defense. The Ravens defense gave up a whopping 251 passing yards in the 4th quarter alone last night. Anytime your defense gives up 251 yards passing in the 4th quarter you deserve to lose the game period.

Ravens vs Bills: Did Ravens Have a Bad Game Plan in the Snow?
The Baltimore Ravens lost a heartbreaker to the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the playoffs on Sunday. Apparently the Ravens offense was affected by the cold snowy weather conditions in the game. Mark Andrews had 2 drops and a fumble. Derrick Henry had a drop. Lamar Jackson had an interception and there was a high snap that let to a fumble. All turnovers came on passing plays.
OC Todd Monken tried to pass more than Bills did in the snow. The Bills mainly ran the ball and tush pushed us to death. How do yall feel about Monken's game plan in the snow? Josh Allen ran ball 10 times and Lamar only ran 6 times. Bills RB cook ran ball 17 times and our beast RB Henry only ran 16 times. I personally think we should have ran ball like we did against Steelers. We had no Zay Flowers and the weathe conditions were bad.
Lamar Jackson did play a good 2nd half and we had chance to send game into OT but Mark Andrews dropped the 2 point point conversion pass. Final score: Ravens 25 Bills 27

Baltimore Ravens vs Buffalo Bills PREVIEW
It's the playoff showdown the world has been waiting for! The Baltimore Ravens versus Buffalo Bills will be the game of the day. The last time the Ravens faced the Bills they blew them out 35 to 10.
Jon Gruden picked the Bills to win in his analysis in the video below, but I totally disagree. The 2 headed monster attack of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry will be too much for the Bills. I am taking the Ravens to win all the way and to advance to play the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

Lamar Jackson vs Josh Allen MVP Debate
Here are the current stats going into week 18:
Lamar Jackson - 3,955 yds passing, 39 TDs, and 4 ints
Josh Allen - 3,731 yds passing, 28 TDs, and 6 ints
Lamar has thrown 11 more touchdown passes than Josh Allen, has less interceptions and and a better QBR. It's not close. What is there to debate? Also when they went head to head this season, the Ravens beat the Bills down 35 to 10. Oh, did I mention Lamar has a better completion percentage and a better passer rating too?
